The Footsteps of Chaos had hired star blocker Morg 'n' Thorg to even up the odds, but he dissapointed the fans with only a single causualty. The Merchants crushed the young team into the ground, grinding all of them into badly hurt or worse. Many of the 8,000 chaos pact fans left when the Merchants went 1-0 up at half time, while smashing the majority of the Footsteps into the Casualties. The Footsteps kept on fighting, but they paid for it when over half of their team was unconsious at the end of the Half. Coach Starfire was concerned about the high fatality rate of this team, with their fouth death in five games, but said that the attidude in the team was still positive, and that they would continue.”

“Coach ArtaXerxes commented that he was pleased with the "workman" like performance of the Merchants. While many in the media had written about the Merchants having noting to gain and everything to loose, ArtaXerxes had maintained this was a key game.
It was a tough game all round, with both Trong and Phong needing to be taken to the dugout after 7 turns. While the Merchants were down on numbers, the younger "Footsteps" team were loosing players faster. Thus the result was never really in doubt unless the Merchants did something foolish. Coach ArtaXerxes is glad that they didn't.”
