Started badly - the dorf kickoff landed on LOS at the feet of a blocker.
Then the vipers suffered Quad skulls to end the turn and gift the ball to the dorfs.
By turn 4 the dorfs had the ball and the Vipers had used all 3 RR, suffered 2 turnovers and lost the AG5 leap cagebreaker to a BH.
Things looked grim.
Then a failed dorf GFI opened things up. The witch elf managed two 2d against blocks on the ball carrier, ending with a pow - leaving the DE to scoop and scoot for the first TD.
The dorfs had 2 turns before half time to try to equalise but couldnt manage to do so.
Second half the Vipers had only 7 players and were playing for a draw.
The Vipers ST4 player was KO'd early in the first half and failed 4 KO rolls - never returning to play. The Witch Elf failed 3 KO rolls and only returned late in the match.
Then the Wizard knocked over all 3 targeted played including -ST to a longbeard and Stunning the ball carrier. The elves scooped up the ball and went downfield to delay some turns and score.
Late score by the dorfs made things look respectable but the match was really decided by two key turns that fell the Vipers way.
Votes:
3- #3 the AG4 ball carrier gives the Dorfs a much needde dimension
2- #10 took an intercept that probably avoided a 3-0 result
1- #1 jump up was handy a couple of times”
