“The dice weren't exactly even in this one - Raine's Task Force jumped out to an early lead thanks to Nobbla hitting himself in the head with his own chainsaw on turn 1. The first half seemed to go bloody from there, with casualties flying left and right. The half ended after an unlikely set of dodges from the star Bull who raced clear and handed off the all off to the only player in range of endzone, Kane the Minotaur. Only needing one gfi with nor rerolls, unfortunately his wild ways got the better of him and he just growled at being given the ball.

The second half was a bit more even, but Raine's Task Force scored again to make it 2-0 midway through the half. After that, Helmand Hammers stormed back up the pitch looking for a score, but a few failed pickups made it difficult to accomplish before turn 8 came around.

Raine's Task Force takes this one, but I have a feeling the luck might not be quite so much in our favor next time around. The dwarves will be out for revenge...”
