We managed to catch our opponent at their weakest moment...having suffered injures on route to this finals, they had no bench - so we bought an extra lineman and picked up a bribe and the Prince for this game. Bribe failed, but with 13 players, we continued to foul and got some lucky armor breaks early. A failed pass by the opponents gave us the defensive score in the first half - and the half ended with us up 2-1. We certainly dodged a bullet when we failed our own pass but got a lucky bounce to our receiver. Anyway, opponent failed to get either KO back to start second half and with a 2-1 lead, we just ground and pounded all second half to clear the pitch and then score on turn 8 for the 3-1 win. Given that it was the finals, we did not take any chances!
