“Fun game that probably should have ended in a tie, but hey, it's my 5th win in a row so I'm not going to look a gift-horse in the mouth ;) I got an extra reroll on the 1st kickoff and opted to try a greedy pass for SPPs. But I forgot that the weather was Very Sunny and failed the 4+ pass even with the reroll. Then both coaches burned their remaining rerolls on various things (blocks and pickup attempts mostly). I managed to get a rotter within extreme scoring position (i.e. 7 paces away) and got the ball on T7 only to fail a handoff that would have set up a pass on T8. Nonetheless, I made a pickup and a quick pass on T8, followed by the catch and 2 gfis to score. Good thing I did, too, 'cause that was the only TD that was going to be scored this match. In the 2nd half both coaches got hit by a rock. Mine was only a stun, but Lifes Pets suffered the loss of a Werewolf to the Badly Hurt box. Regen failed, but it never really mattered since there was not another kickoff again. In desperation, I had to move 2 rotters 2 gfis each to put TZs on the ghoul ballcarrier. Of course, I couldn't make the dodge any harder than 3+, but that was enough as the ghoul fell down going for the endzone. I got the ball back and even had a chance to score a 2nd TD, but a Flesh Golem had other ideas and planted my Pestigor so hard into the pitch he was stunned in T8. Then just to make sure I was denied a gratuitous passing attempt for SPPs, a zombie picked up the ball in traffic and chucked it clear across the pitch (Pass roll 6, needed 6) to another zombie in a TZ who almost caught it (Catch roll 5, but needed 6)! We traded some more blocks and the game ended on a 1 die both down (my Warrior, his zombie that failed the catch).
