Crazy guard on this team. First half a clawpomber knocked out a TG, to which we responded by fouling out of the game (unfortunately the apoth saved him). We spent the rest of the half trying to find 2d blocks among all the guard, and knocking people out when we did. A bothdown/skull on a critical roll allowed them to pop the ball loose, which allowed the blodge/ss elf to run off with the ball. He stopped just short of the goal line with one turn left, so we spent everything we had, but 4 dice did not produce a POW. At least they didn't get a last turn, right?

Second half starts out 11 on 9, when they quad-skull on the first block of the half. With the ball only a square away from the LOS, we are able to grab the ball and lock it up in a cage, as well as making it 10 on 7. After another injury and a stun on the elf, we run the ball right next to the goal line. After knocking the elf out on a foul, we run in the ball, hoping he won't come back and we'll be able to win. He doesn't, which makes it 6 on 10. He throws the ball downfield, hoping to stall me with only 3 turns left. On the first turn, I just manage to grab the ball. On the second turn, I run a skeleton into scoring range and try the pass, but it's inaccurate to the tune of 4 squares backwards! A stun on one thro-ra, as well as a body on the ball and on the receiver, means my only hope is to hand-off with a skeleton. Wasting a RR on double-skulls means a trip on the second GFI spells disaster.

GG jas.
