“This was a fun game with several events stopping it being a dull 2-1, 1-0 etc. The thing that went most my way this game was the Thrall not all disappearing, allowing a few gaps for the highly skilled vamps to cause trouble. The T16 failed blood lust and pro roll is a little hard to take but certainly isn't the first or last time that has happened. A draw seems most fair.
“Grrrr, once again Vamps are my bane! I couldn't stop them on offense, and they didn't really fail any crucial Bloodlust rolls until T16. However, the Bloodlust bug for Blitzing is alive and well if the vamp coach simply ends that player's action. No score, but they did get a few more actions until I pointed it out. Mattius was a good sport and I suspect he ended his turn a few actions early because of it. Or maybe he just decided he didn't have enough thralls left to risk any vampire actions. Either way, it was a hard fought game and I'm not too disappointed with the Tie. Could have possibly scored twice in the 1st half if Otheym hadn't mucked a pickup that the vamps were able to capitalize on with a pass that took it well out of our TD range.
Good game, Mattius. Very well played. Some day I'm going to learn how to beat Vampires :(
Guess we're ready for the Scheduled SMACK, though I don't hold out much hope of advancing any further than I usually do. Seems Nuffle still has it out for me and keeps interfering at all the wrong moments or lending assistance to my opponent when they need it most (like a damn quad skull block that almost cost me this game).”
