“This was a fun game but frustrating for long spells. First half the Orcs did a good job of crowding us but by turn 5 Draknil saw a chance to escape. However didn't get the crucial 3 required on the 2nd dodge. There was a real scrum around the ball but things like drops and skulls frustrated us and eventually the Orcs had chance to get away and score. A couple more poor rolls meant noone could make chase.
2nd half we gave a long kick. The black orcs and troll were tangling with the mummies and some zombies in the middle while the ghouls and a Wight advanced into the Orc half. We managed to get the Orc carrier down but the ball scattered off and the crowd threw it across the pitch. Kneecapper Jones managed to get the ball and was in a dangerous area but he was blitzed and tackled to the ground. We took chase and after a couple of efforts he had it back. Down he went again the ball was spilled to Draknil who escaped as he often does. The strong Botham pursued him but finally the Orcs got a double skull of their own and we got the equaliser it seemed we deserved. Good game though Potasio (and Collingwood) will be complaining about the Niggles received for a long time to come.”
