“This was a hard fought and fun match been two sides who both have a bit of variety but had similarities too. No clawpomb nonsense. I think Hessu's Necros got some v good dice on the blocking side compared to us but at least our key players lasted most of the match.
First half Draknil took the ball into a cage and H.West's Experiment started dealing damage. A KO to a Wight in turn 3 and a broken jaw in turn 4 for Svein, both from Uggo the flesh Golem, made things look tricky. Turn 5 we didn't get anyway so Draknil and a few supporters made it towards the centre where it was less crowded. The Werewolves chased us though Draknil got round them with protection dwindling. He survived hukka's blitz and then blitzed him back and dodged (team and dodge rerolls needed that turn) to just scrape over the td line in turn 8. Tough drive.
In response the Necros came forward easily at first as they caused 4 casualties in 3 turns! They scored in turn 4. We then setup 9 v 11 as we hadn't caused any significant hits to them. After Draknil picked up the opposing Wolves dashed forward. But after a simple dodge it seemed he could dart forward into a very threatening position. Suddenly victory was in sights. But he got a 1 so the tackler forced him to use a rr and then the gfi I really wanted then was a 1 too. After that at least we didn't suffer a td loss. There was a great scrap. Draknil jumped up after recovering from a stun in turn 7 and managed to pickup the ball but was then Ko'd by one of the great werewolves. Slipperyfingers Sid still had an opportunity to pickup and pass for a win but was seriously injured in the dodge to start his move!
