“It had been a very long time since the Mystery Machine had rolled into town. But today they had heard that not only was there a mystery to be solved, but there were monsters galore to be discovered.

Jenkies shouted Velma as she climbed out of the van. Out on the grass were monsters galore. Werewolves, zombies, and a pair of nasty looking things that were called golemns. One looked as tough as Scooby.

They had barely stepped onto the field and the ball fell into Fred's hands. "What do I do?" he shouted and the Ghosts bore down on him. That way pointed Daphne and the crew ran to catch up with Scooby. Somewhere along the line Scooby was told that a zombie named Yorick had a Scooby Snack. Poor Yorick tried to run, but he was torn down and gnawed on by a pesky Mutt.

Many gazed on in awe as the dog found his bone, and Fred hurried into the endzone.

The Tarmonster kicked the ball deep to start the second half. Velma pointed to the ball and said "Look fellas, its a clue." As everyone scrapped and pushed to get it, Daphne broke a nail and headed to the sideline sobbing. At last Shaggy got the ball away from the Sleeper in Metropolis and stepped into the endzone.

When he got there he bumped into the sheriff who reached out and grabbed the prostrate wight at his feet. Pulling it up he pulled away the cape to reveal...

'All Gasp' "COACH KENTY!!" "But why?" asked Shaggy. "I don't get it."

"Simple" replied Velma. "This is the coach of the Sleeper in Metropolis. From time to time he cannot resist the urge to play along with his team. This time he planned to get the glory. But coaches usually watch rather than play."

"Well..." said the sheriff.

"Its true." replied coach Kenty. "And I would have gotten away with it too if it were not for these brat kids and their mangy mutt."
