“A game of errors in which both teams lost clear scoring opportunities. The Boxers received the kick and pressed downfield, looking for the pass and breakaway. Brawling on the line of scrimmage created an opening and Amir Khan looked for the defence splitting throw. But grotty little Hobgoblin Snizzles somehow plucked the ball out of the air for an interception and broke up the play! A swift counter attack developed with the Bull Centaur Blaux driving hard down the wide zone with the ball. But the clumsy centaur tripped over his own feet and ended up face down in the dirt! Boxers retrieved the ball but the half was over.

The second half began with Crimson driving to the left, looking for the wide zone breakthrough, but things quickly went wrong. Blaux got stuck in a wide zone position and was crowd suffered out – straight into the hospital with a niggling injury. Crimson struggled to move the ball with solid defending from the humans, who steadily broke up the pocket. Play broke down just a few yards from the Boxers end zone, when the Hobgoblin ball carrier was sacked. The Boxers broke quickly and it looked like there was going to be a sensational last minute TD, but another blundered pass meant play broke down just inside Crimson’s half. The game ended 0 – 0 with neither coach entirely happy with their team!
