“With heavy rain from the sky both teams had dificulties handling the ball during the whole game. The SS players were smashed into the mud in the first rounds and the bony players could easily take control over the ball and score a td. At the end of the first half we were really close to tie the score but Skinky fell i the endzone when trying to sprint. We could't controll the ball the last turn either and it was a little bit frustrating to be so close.
2nd half started better :). A blitz from the SS and that came as a big surprise for the receiving team (and me to). With high pressure on the ball the rats managed to steal the ball and go for an easy td, 1-1. The next kick off started with.. jepp, a blitz! but this time the opponent was prepared and we couldent do that much of the situation. The rats vere pushing hard now and when the Gutter runner picked the ball up one square from the endzone everybody was pretty sure that he would score. But somehow the little slimy bastard :) fell, and the seconds after our Storm vermim got blitzed really bad. I have a feeling that he won't be the same after taking such a hit! The remaining turns both team had the chance to win the game but a slimy ball keept us both from victory.
Sewer Society are happy with the match, as always when we still have players alive. Both teams won the first round and with this draw it will be really exciting to play the following rounds. ”
