“A game I had to win to have any chance of staying up. However Nuffle did not smile on me this time. For a start Horse missed the game with his niggle, so I missed one of my star players (it was a blizzard so the strip ball and +MA would have come in very handy).

Punch Out took a turn 3 lead after receiving. He ran right along the sidelines, I think trying to draw out the wizard I'd hired but I wasn't biting at that stage.

Then I had a nice 6 turn drive to score in classic bashy team fashion - unfortunately Fred got himself badly hurt, as did Larry - but I decided to apoth it to keep 11 on the field.

Then I made a slighty mistake and obviously Nuffle punished me for it - once but not letting me put down the catcher blocking my route to complete the cage, second by KOing bullock (no more +AG or sure hands...) and third by the ball bouncing into the open. After that it too and fro'ed a lot but I was never able to get possession of the ball while a succession of 1 dice blocks worked for the Elves - eventually resulting in him scoring the winner in the last turn.

At least Larry got +AG from the game.”
