Early on Badmotorfinger the BC took the ball and advanced just behind a scrum in one flank. After some hold up he moved across the middle in turn 4. Fortunately for us a both down result from a hobgob next turn meant we could get across to cover and Necrophil could take him down. A silly rr use meant we couldn't use one when Necro missed the scattered ball. He did get it away next time but alas Badmotorfinger had recovered, dodged, sprinted, took him down and retrieved the ball in a great move. We ganged up on him and the half drew to a close at 0-0.
Next half Draknil took the ball. We spread ourselves about a bit and he had to switch sides but with protection from some like Lord Erfiti, Quickfingers and Kneecapper he could get free. With a 1 turn stall he dodged away to score in turn 5. In response Quickmotorfinger caught the ball when receiving and moved up the flank. I thought we had him covered but with a xombie blocked away first he did a great diagonal run near the endzone. Only Draknil could cover him as Necrophil fell but a double skulls at the death gave us a slim win! Good game.”
