First half the Dislikes received and their carrier hung back. In turn 3 he passed it forward when Ray Lewis got free from Mumm-ra. With a brief stall we then had 5 turns to drive back. Alas they did a short kick and got blitz! They surrounded the ball with pestigors and caught it. They then moved back into the middle. Turn 6 Necrophil wrestled the carrier down while Draknil then took the ball. Crucially the Nurgle worked the blocks so the beast got next to Draknil. Quickfingers Murphy then needed to push or bring down the Beast but alas he failed with reroll. That was massive in this match and then we couldn't score.
2nd half we had a couple of players up but three of our players were stunned by the crowd! But Necrophil moved forward in a cage and scored in turn 4. We wanted to have a winner in the game so made sure there were turns left to play with. But from then on suddenly Foul appearance was INCREDIBLY good. Time and time again from our reasonably strong position in the centre our players found themselves unable to block. So Julius Peppers almost got away to score. But he was wrestled down (mistake perhaps on die choice by Favalessa) and Draknil again took the ball. Alas despite dreams of a td he was pow'd and the Nurgle carrier had the ball again. Yet again he was brought down but then we screwed up. Then at the death the final pass failed after a pestigor did a good pickup. 1-1. Good match.”
