“A slightly frustrating, even silly game.

With elves getting hurt, and a great blitz and crowd throw to turn over the opposing drive and go 1-0 up, this game was mine for the taking. I failed to stop a quickfire response before the 2nd half, but with my team receiving in the 2nd half and only 8 elves available, it boded well.

A surf straight off the kickoff reduced them to 7 but, with reroll consumed by skulls, I elected to go for it with the slayer to prevent a similar fate. The go for it failed and the elves swarmed. Still, with the rushing elf catcher stunned, we had players over the ball. It was at this point things started to unravel.

I failed to think things through, and could have covered the other elf in range properly, but didn't. He pulled off a hit and scored. My team hit back, and it was 2-2 with 2 turns left.

A visitor arrived at my house. I gave the last score away with poor defense against only 6 elves. A victory thrown away, really. The 2nd/3rd TDs should never have been. Poor decision making.”
