“It has been a long time since Crimson Eclipse has seen to the field. What a great way to welcome these guys back than a match against the infamous Cloverfield Corpse Carriers. It was also CE's first match with the new ruleset.

CE won the coin toss and chose to kick. The ball was kicked deep and the Legendary Wight, Finally! was back to recover it. Dark Elves converged on the ball like rats to cheese and soon the Undead backfield was flooded. Finally! was overwhelmed and sacked causing an early fumble. Elric recovered the ball for a quick score to put his team up by one.

CCC received and the ball was handed off to Finally! A hole was opened up by a Mummy and the Wight ran through. Unfortunately, he was going so fast that he lost his footing and fell stunning himself on the unforgiving ground. Rookie, Romulus, took advantage of the error and picked up the ball. He found Elric open for a pass and the Blitzer was in the end zone just as time ran out in the half.

CE received in the second half but CCC hit them with a Blitz! The Undead forces applied heavy pressure on the Dark Elf offensive line pushing back the entire row. Darkstorn scrambled in the backfield and a couple players came back to fend off the Undead onslaught. Malikith would make a break for it along the right sidelines and that was all they needed. Darkstorn connected with a short pass to the Witch Lord and he was off to the races. He handed the ball off to Lazarus for their third and final touchdown of the game. "A massive kicking here," commented Coach FatEddie as the match came to a conclusion.
