“The Golden Girls started their debut as they meant to go on when Estelle Getty, worth 90k, died in the second turn. A daft one die (skilled v unskilled) block: SKULL. Reroll. SKULL. Killed. Apo reroll. Killed. This will leave a minor financial catastrophe as the girls attempt to raise some money to get back to their full contingency of Blitzers.

However, the girls rallied and set up a half-decent cage, slowly making ground down their left flank. The Elves put up a ferocious fight, however, and some superb last ditch defending nearly prevented a score. But Devereux landed the touchdown.

The girls managed to slap the Elves around a bit - throwing 24 blocks to 16 in the first half - but didn't manage to do any significant damage to anyone.
In the second half, the Elves grabbed their inevitable equaliser and managed to badly hurt one more girl and KO another on their drive, leaving 11-8 players.

The Elves quickly pressured the girls after kicking extremely deep and used their number and speed advantage to get their teeth into the girl's cage - knocking the ball free once. The girls gathered the ball again though and seriously injured an Elf lineman as they pushed down the right flank. Devereux broke free from the ruck and darted for glory, managing to shrug off her marker and net the game winning touchdown.
