“New Rot Giants won the coin toss and chose to receive. The ball was kicked deep and the Dreadknights blasted through the offensive line to get into the Nurgle backfield. Judas applied heavy pressure to the sure handed Pestigor and he was not able to make an attempt on the ball as a result. Both teams jockeyed for position around the ball but it was the Dreadknights that won that match as Malikith slammed a Rotter onto the ball sending it flying in a favorable position for his team. Draeke was handed the ball for a touchdown to end the first half.

DK received in the second half and they tried to ground and pound the Nurgle forces. It didn't work too well as they were repelled by the stench of their opponents. NRG kept a tight defense not letting any Dark Elves get through. Only a mistake by a Nurgle Warrior bringing himself crashing to the ground opened up an opportunity for DK. Talion scrambled up the right side of the field and connected with a quick pass to Lazarus. The Blitzer would go all the way to score just as time ran out in regulation.
