XFL VII Norse, Semi-Finals -

Asgard Ravens United won the coin toss and chose to receive. Their Thrower picked up the ball in the backfield and waited for his front lines to open up a path. Big Snow Troll, Grendel, attacked Lance stunning him and roared a challenge to Grant the Great. The reigning #1 Norse Star Player answered the call. Man and beast clashed at midfield with Grant landing some heavy combinations. Grendel was brought to his knees where the Great One finished him off with a roundhouse that sent him to dreamland. This was a devastating blow to the morale of the ARU and their heavy hitting Ulfs were clearly affected as they had a hard time trying to take the FGB players off their feet. Coach Lewdgrip was scratching his head wondering, "Why is my team so boring this morning?"

Meanwhile, Anton charged next to the Asgard ballcarrier, Ewaldson. The Thrower scrambled away and used his strong arm to launch the ball to a teammate who was freed up. Knutson caught the ball and ran as fast as he could. Drade made the save of the game when he dodged twice, took an extra step, stunned Knutson and caught the ball all in one play. Asgard's Berserker responded with an even more spectacular play dodging through several opponents to make an attempt at Drade. He was on the verge of shoving Drade out of bounds but he had nothing left in the tank and collapsed in exhaustion. Drade wiped sweat from his brows at that close call and hurried up the field. Only three turns remained but the Berserker was able to make it just in time to score to end the first half.

FGB received in the second half and their advantage continued. Asgard could only field three players and they were quickly overwhelmed. Seph was the big reason for that. The Lineman was on a mission dropping the "Norseman's Elbow" to quiet efficiency all throughtout the first half. He knocked out at least five players and was never caught. FGB quickly cleaned the pitch and Surrel was off into the end zone to seal the victory and send FGB to the Finals!!!

Good game, Lewdgrip! You had some tough luck there. Thanks for the match, mate!! Rematch sometime if you want.
