“Elfitos Amorosos won the coin toss and chose to receive. Deathroller, Isaac Asimov, charged the Dark Elves but the strong Human of Dreadknights, Gannon, flipped over the machine. A Journeyman made a name for himself when he straddled the fallen Dwarf rider and punched him in the face repeatedly. The Ref would throw him out for unecessary violence, but the Wishmaster had to nod his head in appreciation. Malikith shoved a Dwarf out of bounds and it was a good start for DK. Unforunately, they were put out of position when they took out the Deathroller and the Dwarves capitalized by running to the other side of the field. The ball was fumbled and exchanged possessions a few times but it was EA that finally got control of it. Lloyd Alexander made a nice touchdown pass to Neil Gaiman midway through the first half.

DK received with some time left on the clock. They would manage to bring the ball deep into Dwarf territory. Bane had a chance to score but fell over trying to go for the end zone ending all chances of DK tying the score at the break.

DK received in the second half and Malikith was finally just getting back into the game when a rock hit him. The Witch King suffered broken ribs and the Dark Elves took a hit in morale. Nevertheless, they persevered despite a heavy full on attack by the Dwarven forces. Lazarus slipped away and Bane threw him the ball. The Blitzer would avoid being taken down and make it all the way to tie the game up just as time expired.
