“Battle Theme: Fowl

Two teams met in battle fowl, the Ravenous Rascals came to challenge the Iron[shire] chiefs. Comfortable in the Stadium, Iron Chief Coral Catfriend got comfortable in the cage and made their way to the Rascal's endzone, with a quick toss to "The Chair Man," Kaga the Chairmaker for the opening score.

It was the second half of the battle where the Rascals seemed to really latch on to the theme ingredient, fowl, reducing the the Cheifs numbers and getting Berto Lockpick across the line for the equalizer with only one opposing fling and two opposing trees on the pitch. It wasn't so much that the Chiefs couldn't work with the secret ingredient, as they couldn't seem to find any. They thought they had some good fowl, but the Rascals were good at protecting their allies.

With the Stadium clock running down, time always a factor in the stadium, the Chiefs tried for one more dish. After receiving an excellent throw team mate from Magnolia Grandiflora, Hero Ryesack sprinted for the end zone, but fell (literally) just short (literally) on a brutal tackle that added a second course of fractured leg of halfling to the menu.

So who was the champion of Battle Fowl, whose Bloodbowl team Reigned Supreme?

[Dramatic Pause]
