“Fight Gone Bad won the coin toss and chose to receive. They tried to ground and pound Deluxe Bone Splitters but the armor held tough for the Chaos Dwarves. Surrel was hit several times but the Thrower somehow was able to stay on his feet. The fight wasn't going well for the Norsemen and Surrel had to dodge away and reverse the ball to Feyd. Feyd ran to the left side of the field out of range of his pursuers but fell over trying to go all the way. Fortunately, Destro was there to clean up the mess and take the ball running it in just as time ran out in the first half.

DBS received in the second half and their sure handed Hobgoblin picked up the ball. He was immediately caged up at midfield. Grant swung a Chaos Dwarf into the crowd trying to even up the numbers. Konan swung the momentum FGB's way when he seriously injured the dangerous Bust. Seph followed up by dropping the "Norseman's Elbow" on a rookie Hobgoblin finally giving the Norsemen a player advantage. The Great One then attacked the Chaos Dwarf cage forcing the Hobgoblin to hand the ball off to the rookie Bull Centaur, Hoarg II. Hoarg II's cage collapsed and he had to make a break for it. Feyd caught the Bull Centaur and took him down. Surrel recovered the ball and held on to it to secure the victory for his team.
