my opponent wes verry outspoken from the onset before we even started the game he was at me about j-men, well i hired him so thats fixed. but he did distract me considerably with his banter/insults which kind of spoileed the game for me. i play for fun and i do like to experiment for my self instead of following others. I dont play to lose but dont expect to be lambasted for it either.

its a pitty the game was spoiled for me by pythers banter/insults/criticisums/comments/opinions/

i would hate to play board games with him on a wet sunday(he would make it sooooo Fun)

#12 Oglaf – Smashed Knee (NI)
Game # 7

One of the risks of Blackbox is that sometimes you run into a team like this.

Now, humans vs CDs at low TV is usually a bad matchup for humans due to the power of Block at low TV, but when the CD team in question is a minmaxed, zero RR team that is using j-men (or man, in this case - a very useful exploit when combined with zero RR, as the j-man loses nothing due to loner), then you end up not just facing a wall of block, but also twice the number of skills (MB, GD, etc) that your own team has...

Having said that, this was interesting. While I was soon down to 8 players, and played the final 2 drives with only 4 players, I managed a win. However, I did not play very well to be honest, as it is hard to play with ag3 with only 4 players (we're not elfs, after all). Now, I do not usually make comments on opposing coaches, especially bad ones (cos I am no noob basher), but I'll make a rare exception in this case: zortron must be the worst coach I can recall playing for a very long time. Even with 11 vs 5 or 6 in the second half, he kept giving me 1d blitzes on the ball (which failed, amusingly), and then scored for 2-2 in T15 (who does that?) giving me 2 turns to get a winner. He needed a blitz to have a chance, I just needed some decent rolls. Well, as you can see, it ended 3-2; a win for 4 humans vs 11 minmax zero-RR CD filth.

gg sir, and gl with them minmaxers. I hope that team record improves soon, and remember not to exploit j-men so much in the future.

Peace and hugs, Pyth.

Edit ***

I refute that I EVER insulted you. Please quote me if I did, as insulting people is not allowed. I was very careful ONLY to comment on your team, your admitted abuse of the j-men rule, your minmaxing, and to describe how you played. I was very careful not to make any personal insults, and I resent your accusation sir and demand an apology.

Or it will be pistols at dawn!
