One of those games that leaves you feeling cheated. While I didn't have extreme misfortune, a lot of would-be easy plays went down the drain due to bad rolls. BigDog on the other hand, probably pulled off 6-7 dodges and at least half as many gfi on an average turn, and failed no more than once or twice, and non-essential fails at that. When getting a blitz (of course.. following a perfect defence) during the third drive, he must have done 10-12 gfi without falling. On top of that, 1-1 came via a Treeman pulling off a pass on a 6. At the same time, I failed several dodges, gfi:s and attempts at picking up the ball. Of course, I was playing with 1/2 rerolls against 6/5, but even so, BigDog ended up spending rerolls on blocks just to get a knockdown on several occasions, since all his other rolls just came up good right away.
After spending most of second half trying to break up the Halfling+Treeman cage slowly rolling down the pitch, I finally got a chance to take the lead with a few turns left to play. However, I'm out of rerolls and promptly fail the 3+ roll required to pick up the ball - something that stings more than a little in the light of so many 3+ rolls going by so easily for my opponent.

Having said all this, I realize of course that playing against Halflings is an advantage to begin with, and risky tactics like this with multiple dodges, gfi:s and TTM:s are probably the only way they can get good results - I just wish they wouldn't necessarily have the game of their life everytime they're playing me. Out of my total four games against stunty teams, I think I have two wins and two draws, which make up 40% of my total draws in itself. I guess the signs are obvious enough.

Either way. One bright point being no lasting casualties, I guess I shouldn't be whining too much. Decent winnings on top of that, and a new Blitzer added to the team. Thanks for the game.
