#5 Snow – Smashed Knee (NI)
#6 Fox – Dead (RIP)
#11 Spider – Gouged Eye (MNG)
After our previous horror show match with lost key players plus MNGs we were hoping for a recovery match against what looked like a slightly weaker Underworld side. But it has taken a night for coach Gary to get over what happened here.
Straight off we we setup to receive, somehow we were blitzed and the skaven did a great, little kick one square in to our endzone which they immediately surrounded and caught! Incredible kickoff. We couldn't take the ball back turn 1 though the rat thrower did trip next time. Our turn 2 we started with using a rr on a double skull. Later cost us as Swan failed a gfi after picking up the ball. Turn 3 a skaven blocked our Wrodge lineman Spider with equal strength and managed to seriously injury him! Apo failed to help. There was some to'ing and fro'ing with the ball moving back and forth during which time Snow was niggled while blitzer Foz was killed by the crowd! Finally Edge managed to blitz away to score in turn 8 and we caused a couple of MNG. So after a tough half we had suffered expensive damange but at least were well in the match itself. But next half Sega caused 2 badly hurts and a ko in the first turn! Swan's great sidestepping was the only thing that slowed down the Underworld's equaliser. Then in turn 5 we lined up with 5 players but still some chance to win. Alas a double skulls for and ko for Ajax spoilt things further. The Underworld stormed the ball and Swan couldn't save the last turn td. Harsh one this!
Maybe we need more team training but first money is needed for more warriors..
