The opening round of the GLT for two teams that had already faced eachother recently, so both coaches were somewhat frustrated to have been drawn together in a pool of much weaker match ups. There must be a winner, and today it was Pig Sty Alley. The Slaan's only damage would be done on the opening turn of the game, hurting a zombie, but after that it became one way traffic as both halves the Pig Sty Alley players set about reducing their opponents numbers.

JigerJones and his side never had an answer to the pace of the wolves or the sturdiness of the zombies and flesh golems. After Wulang Staff ran in an equalizer to close out the first half, JigerJones was up against it as his side were reduced to a handful of players over the course of the 2nd half. A comical wizard fizzle had no bearing on the final result as wrestle worked against the final defense, dropping both Slaan ball markers, and Wulang Staff picked up the ball and sealed the win.

After 39 games of being an ineffective zombie, Brother Sum makes his first contribution to the Pig Sty Alley cause, getting a casualty and earning the MVP and the block skill.”
