“This was a fun game and a rarity for us, facing a wizard in the Box. First half we marched up the field sharpish and Draknil scored a quick td in turn 3. Their impressive m10a5 GR (one of 2 m10s) raced up the flank in 2 turns to equalize before we could catch. Then came the fun drive. We had enough time to be able to take the lead. Svein was taken out by the Rat Ogre's claws and would have died if not for his incredible regeneration. Lord Erfiti however took out his second casualty with a key blitzer being badly hurt. The wiz then hurled down a lightning bolt which hurled down Draknil. Pinky then got into the space which was blocked free in our cage and launched a pass to turn the tables on us but Lord Erfiti caught the ball immediately for his 3rd ever interception! Quickfingers pushed a GR away so Erfiti only needed 1 gfi to get within 3 paces of the endzone and a great score. But snakeyes!! So close to greatness but so far. A td still is missing from his respecatable career (now a superstar). The gutters couldn't pull off a pass again so the half ended 1-1 despite both sides having great chances for a 2nd td.
Second half we were players up but the Fumblers scored quickly despite our blitz. After that it was straightforward for us to move up the field though the GRs did threaten early in the drive. Once once they went down to 5 players it got tough for them. Good game and draw.”
