The Legion received the opening kick and performed the patented Methodical 8-Turn Grind that orcs are known and loved for. Closest we ever came to trouble was a Leaping SB attempt with -2db which came up Both-Down (and no Wrestle).

Second half, we got a great shot to take the ball, but the Dump-Off worked, and when we smashed the receiver too, the bounce goes into the hands of a third elf. After that we got elf-stalled on, but Atei decided to take the ball in on T6 and try for a defensive win in regulation. I'm certain they could have stalled out the entire half if they tried; I had yet to really make any dent in their team cas-wise.

I played conservative with my last 3 turns of regulation, making a careful attack and keeping a full cage back to prevent a defensive TD. The lone blitzer close enough to score in T8 is so well trapped that I decided to hurt stuff instead of trying the desperate score. I managed to KO their +AG thrower, so it was well worth the effort.

OT coin toss goes the elves' way, and pretty well decided the game. We made it REALLY close when we sacked the +AG blitzer with the ball deep in Atei territory, but we lacked the MA to secure it afterward. A long pass worked, but their runner failed a GFI in the end zone to stun himself and delay the DE win. I had a couple shots to free up the ball and take the win, but with no rerolls left, the orcs were out of luck, and Atei finished us off.
