A match of waves. First wave, all us, as the wizard sent us in at half time 2-0 up.
"Easy!" That's what I honestly thought. Dwarves, even with an mv8 runner, were never going to be able to score quickly and then overturn the play. A 5+ pass later and a terrible set of turns - partly due to rage - meant we headed into overtime.
Aforementioned rage... what the hell is it with me and Fumbbl at the moment? Players that are useful to my teams constantly DIE or get maimed. MNG is a blessing. Badly hurt is reserved for zombies or the games where regeneration actually works.
Anyhow, 2 waves, mine then his... then mine again. With both of us running out of rerolls, I rolled pure gold in OT to clinch it.
