#7 David Doombleby – Broken Ribs (MNG)
The News Team decided their inaugural bulletin should feature an in-depth feature on the hordes of Chaos to be found travelling the Old World, desperate for the next fix of blood bowl. Doombleby took it upon himself to interview Killer, whose name should really have been a hint as to why that was a bad idea. Fortunately a team talk from McChokehold inspired the Team to really go for it, hardly ever falling over and reaching the advertising break 2-0 up.
A practical joke then nearly ruined that good start, with somebody replacing most of the News Team's shoes with slabs of butter, but they just about held on to win. A bounty of cash to the victors, and we will all be relieved that we now have a doctor and some basic catering. Beater Sissons had been threating to go on strike until "someone gets me a damn hoysin wrap". As for me, I stayed out of it and took all the credit, in the greatest tradition of the newsroom.
