“Pretty quick, completely painless game. Herbststurm started with the ball, but their cage-like offensive came to a halt a few squares into Stormbringer's side of the pitch. A few turns passed with both players looking for an opening - most of these turns became rather short, as we both had pretty bad luck, with several double ones/skulls, and no rerolls left. Finally, in my 4th-or-so attempt I manage to take down Herbststurm's blodging ballcarrier and free up the ball for a run against the endzone that Geduld isn't in a position to stop. 0-1.

With about three turns left of first half, the Dark Elves are hit by some severe bad luck. The ball scatters deep and far toward the sidelines on the kick, and Geduld rolls a 1 when trying to pick it up. I send several players running for it and dodge away from the line of scrimmage. Geduld goes for the ball again, but the die come up with another 1 and the ball goes to the crowd, and is thrown back in to a nearby Dark Elf blitzer who, fortunately enough I suppose, manages to catch it. This doesn't change much though, as I subsequently manage to take him down, grab the ball and scamper in for a 0-2 touchdown.

Second half starts with a 6-turn riot, and the match is basically over. I score a rather painless 2-turn touchdown, and then when Herbststurm are to gather some SPP:s on their last turn, the thrower rolls double ones while going for the ball. Adding insult to injury, Geduld proceeds to roll ones both on winnings and FF, while I get sixes. My sympathies for that.

On the bright side, for what it's worth, there were no lasting injuries on either side. Thanks for the game, Geduld.”
