In the end there was 1 legend and 2 super stars amongst the cull - including Scorcha saved from death by the apothecary at the expense of strength. Another long term player retired as 990TV is cut from the roster in one fell swoop.
The carnage was both ways, it was a brutal game. With more casualties than knockouts, and more knockouts than stuns, it was a beating to make any coach cringe.
Just to complete our misery, an interception seals the loss (although it was looking inevitable by this point anyway).
Oh well, time to save up...
We will be back for revenge. The war drum is beating, and new recruits are massing, ready for the hunt.”
