Despite getting repeat shots on the ball, outside of bashing, very little went right. The majority of 2+ rolls failed at the first attempt, and when the rerolls ran out there was little to be done.
Rat_Salat's boys pulled off a 5+ pick up before a marauder made 4 dodges, including 3 through tacklezones, and made two go for its to score the opener. In contrast I snaked a go for it attempting to score, before the goblin pulls off a 4+ pick up to set up the winner.
Given that Rat_Salat let me surf his super star elf in the 2nd turn, and I got to bash him until he was injured in the 2nd half, he can count himself very fortunate to have progressed.”
