Our improbable run continues. We brought everything to this match, including not one, but TWO kitchen sinks. We were still reading the owners' manuals on half the stuff we'd bought by kickoff.
On our drive, Morg toted the load, taking the initial pickup the length of the field and using his Block and ST6 to suck up a lot of dice. We scored too early, unable to put together a stall as we were outmanned strength-wise. Our chef had done his job though, denying rerolls and running the Gods out, preventing a short TTM landing that might have tied it.
Second half, Morg went down on T1. We scrambled to clog up the middle and unleashed a fireball into a crowd to good effect. We took the loose ball and kinda kicked it around, eventually knocking it into Grotty's hands for the capping TD that sealed the win.
GG Ryld. Old school ogres are tough to take against 1700+ TV in inducements.”
