Undead set the tone in turn 1 knocking out a lineorc and the troll (the latter with a DP foul) and from that point the orcs were playing men down. Green wall tactics forced the ag4 ghoul ball carrier to the outside, at which point we took the risk of an early wizard - the lightning stunned the ghoul and we got men near the ball, but some positioning errors meant couldn't secure it before the ghoul recovered from his stun, and that I gave up a lineorc to a 1db surf. Some black orc dodge blitzes weren't enough and the undead scored on turn 8.

For the second half we had 10 men (an unskilled black orc out and an unskilled lineorc injured) against 11 for the undead (one ghoul out and a zombie on the bench). We went for a 2 GFI, Tackle 2db on the ag4 ghoul turn 1, but weren't able to break armor, and subsequently gave up blocks that led to both of these orcs being KO'd (with one being Apo'd to a stun). From there we desperately tried to establish some sort of advantage. A failed mummy GFI gave us two 2db shots at creating an opening for the thrower to get forward, but we only netted a push and the troll went stupid; subsequently, my Blodge Sidestep Guard blitzer failed his 3+ dodge anyway. From there the undead opened up a shot on the ball and knocked it free, stunning the thrower; the ghoul ball carrier we hadn't managed to injure picked it up, desperation moves failed and that was that.

Hard to fault any of cyric's play, his four MB and DP zombie paid off handsomely against orc armor, netting many KOs as well as three CAS. Felt the game was winnable in spite of my poor armor, but needed to do better with the ball on the ground after using the wizard; on my drive, got tangled up too much in a bashing game when I needed to get some men free and moving forward (with 2-3 of cyric's guys being set back as safeties/foul assists early in the half).
