Semi-finals of the FUMBBL B Minor MW V-2. Things started off very well when the Noble Elvez jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead on defense. They were feeling pretty good heading into turn 4 of the 1st half with a wizard in their pockets and receiving at the half.

A riot moved back the clocks, but still the elves were feeling good. They had a 4+ pick-up attempt and an easy pass/catch to a TD (with a RR) to go up 2-0 with the wizard still i their pocket; unfortunately, the pick-up failed and on the next play, two of the elve's star players were injured, this began a crazy steam of casualties that ended in one RIP and seven SI (3 of whom would need to be retired).

Oh what could have been if that pickup had been successful :)... For instance, perhaps I'd be playing in the finals with a team of half journeymen! :)

Good luck in the finals lawman.

Surprised you retired a -MA guy with MB. I usually keep those guys. I have a wardancer that is halfway to becoming a legend with -MA. However, we has MBPO :)
On that same team I have an MA6/AV6 catcher LMAO. But he has guard so he's still on the team :)

Anyway-I threw only 26 blocks, which for me is rather low. But seeing how the results were so effective (8 injuries) it didn't matter. Only letting you toss 11 blocks may be among the lowest totals this team has caused.

It turned out that giving up the first TD was a blessing as it let me get a second chance at knocking players off the pitch. As the elves didn't get the 4+ pickup (that I myself failed with my bull 4 times to start the game) I was able to get some more blocks off.

Tough game for the elves. Can't say I would have played it much differently in their shoes.

GG. GL with the team.
