There are few people out there in this world that are as dangerous when at the helm of an elf team as Jeffro. I learned my lesson last time that you really have to kill every one of his elves in order to feel safe, and even then, you're still worried. In this match, both teams came wearing fuzzy mittens and flip-flops, interfering with both coaches attempt at killing the opposing team. This meant that no matter which way I turned, there were elves coming after the ball. In the end a poor positioning on my part led to a block that pushed the ball away, and into the awaiting hands of their thrower. After that, elves did what elves do best: win, and rub it in your face.

That being say, there are also very few people who are a much fun to play as coach Jeffro. The matches are filled with humorous chat, the plays he makes, and the plays you have to make to combat him, both serve as excellent learning tools, and all-in-all, he's not a dick. You find yourself rooting for not only yourself, but also him, as you struggle back and forth. At the end of the match, when you say "Good game", you actually mean it, because of what an enjoyable match it was, regardless of the outcome. I will take a 2-1 loss in a match I thoroughly enjoyed over simply steamrolling through some team, racking up SPP's, and being bored the entire time, any day, and everyday.

Good game. Until next time.

Edit: You are a bit of a dick, but I figure that's just part of your charm.

Thanks for the kind words, E... this game was fun in a number of respects. First as another example of "NEVER GIVE UP. EVER." Also in the sense that it was competitive to the point where either of us had a chance to win it... ultimately, dice decide.

Glad you don't think I'm a dick... you might be alone in that respect, amongst my buddies and folks that have blacklisted me alike ;)

Edit: I was gonna say... anytime I start chatting lyrics to a song, that's rare form of "dick-itude" I pull out only in special occasions ;)

For reference... The Black Rider by Tom Waits
