“The northmen journeyed to the lands of sand, in search of their prophesied 13th Warrior (well, by the time they find him he SHOULD be #13). They encountered some unliving creatures from an ancient civilization who put up a fierce resistance to the Warrior's plans of looting the rich tombs. Trading blows the ball was turned over late in the 1st half but Weath recovered (Skeld was too scared to try a pickup without a reroll because, you know, he's superstitious). The tomb doom's first CAS regened, but the next 2 were not so fortunate. The northmen put poor Horus out of his misery. Coach Kodeack said he had tried living him at away stadiums, but Horus would always find his way home. He can now enjoy the rest he has earned for his many games of service. A worthy foe, the Warriors of Valhalla lift a glass to him tonight and hope to dine with him in the feast hall of Valhalla some day.
(Thanks for the game, Kodeack. It was fun and I enjoyed the chat. Would have still enjoyed the game even if you had made one of those passes to tie it up.)
(Weath earned the MVP, his first ever, and skilled after the game. As I was looking the roster over, I thought to myself - 'Weath, lad, you are a good runner and have all the skills you need to be successful. What you need is a stat increase. Any stat would do, but I think I would like +AG because you have failed a few crucial Agility rolls.' Then I clicked skill up and voila - 5 6 = +AG = \o/)
