Though there were bouts of stupidity, particularly for Kendo, there were just enough good hits from the Ogres on zombies to give us a numbers advantage. The Ogres own armour held and we were able to cover their potential receivers.
With 4 of the Ogres battling in the middle Lord Lucan got away on a flank with snot and Les for cover. He then just managed to get through the tackling Werewolf for a TD.
In response the Ghoul carrier advanced and tried to handoff to the pumped up Wight. But he dropped the ball and Ogres charged in around them with Haystacks getting his 2nd zombie cas. In the next few turns the ball couldn't be moved and we ended the half 1-0 up.
Second half the ghoul advanced up the flank but then retreated back as he saw a difficult path. Big Daddy and Les got locked in a conflict with a Flesh Golem and the s5 Wight while the ghoul moved to the other flank. Haystacks pursued him. A golem couldn't bring the superstar Ogre down and then he continued his great match by tackling down the Ghoul as it tried to dodge, and was instead ko'd. A snot failed to pick up the loose ball and meanwhile the Tai Chi Resurrected Wolf had been picking up snot casualties. A golem with help threw Haystacks into the crowd, who brutally bashed him, and the Wolf smashed a snot aside and scooped up the ball. But Kendo surfed a zombie and went behind the wolf while Jim Breaks went in front. The Wolf briefly escaped but Jim shrugged off grabbing hands and knocked him down before piling on to it. There were no other options for the Necros and so we just managed to hold off their attack in the fun game. Enjoyed playing Farlock.
Go Ogres!”
