“A frustrating loss but very fun game.
The 'Saws blocked more, had 2 piling on blitzers to none, yet came off worse. Still, timely knockouts kept the match competitive.
On defense, the pressure wasn't sufficient to prevent a slight stall. That left less time than Aztec needed to go it alone, so he ended up having to pass - and the blitzer on the end of the pass dropped it meaning half time was reached at a deficit.
Without needing to rely on others, Aztec duly scored the equalizer in the 2nd. That left approximately a quarter of the match to find a winner. The troll was given a shot at the ball carrier and thumped him down. Several knockouts followed and it looked dour for Coach Christos.
Cometh the hour, cometh the lineorc? Larz the rookie put up with the troll's foul smell, grabbed the ball from under it, and then nonchalantly passed it to a blitzer for the winner.
Having spent the game competing with the big black orc Markz, Aztec commented afterwards, "I miss Pantheon. He was better than dis lot." Unoffended, Zeek agreed, "Yeah, Panfeon wuz da best."
I look forward to the rematch!”

Chainsaw was better than me, but the dice god was on my side and we managed to snatch victory.
