The Batrachians rolled in expecting a blowout...and got it. Just not how they envisioned it!
The team gave up an early score despite early defensive pressure on the ball carrier (which is to say they sacked the carrier twice but bounces always went the Elves way).
When they received...it just all went south. Nothing like a first move snake to give your oppo two turns in a row. Down at half 0-2.
The fans refused to give up hope and BH a Noldorin blitzer with a Thrown Rock to start the 2nd half. Powermonger used his apo(!) but Nuffle refused to punish him for such a rash move, waiting until T16 to drop the match's only cas vs. the Elves. The Batrachian's scored quickly in hopes of pulling out a tie, but Nuffle had other plans in mind and the Naldorins scored a 3rd by T13 when the Slann tried to both defend and pressure the deep ball.
Clearly the Batrachians are suffering from early season jitters, and look to rebound vs. the...oh shit, Superior Bowl Champion Surrey Serpents. This season is looking to start rather poorly.
As a final note, I'd like to welcome Powermonger to the league, and also curse his team to perpetual damnation. God I hate Elves.”

I won out of pure luck and the help of Eldril & Moranion.
And beyond that, i lost my only skilled cátcher and have no money to replace it.
I´m afraid i´m going to fall deep into financial trouble to deploy a playable team.
