The Time of the Lotus coach sought out this match eagerly (probably cos I have FF 21 and no hard hitters heh) and the Guardians who are desperate for money agreed in the hope of a game with no bad injuries and the reward of a little cash at the end.
The Guardians won the toss and started in offence and after a bumbling start (several ones) lost the ball near the sidelines. Time of the Lotus sent the ball out of bounds but the Guardians were able to recover it from the other side of the pitch and score the first TD.
The Guardians kicked and pushed deep with four players towards the ball carrier and managed to knock the ball loose. Time of the Lotus recovered the ball but had their pass picked off by Wardancer Caladriel Stormbringer who handed off to fellow Wardancer Danlarius Thundercall for his second score of the match.
On the next drive Time of the Lotus were more cautious in protecting their backfield ball carrier. However, as they prepared to throw his TD pass, the Lotus player forgot Naldorian Starweaver's pass blocking (+AG5 and Nerves of Steel) ability and the Guardians catcher picked off the pass and gave the ball to Danlarius for his third score.
Things were looking bad for Time of the Lotus who had a 0-3 deficit at the half time break. However, they scored their own TD after a risky pass (Naldorian was underneath it and needed a 4+ with reroll to steal it - 75% chance!).
The crowd then decided they were tired of the agility game and lack of blood and rioted in the stands, effectively ending the match (6 turns, leaving me just one turn to get Danlarius one more SPP to get to 16).

A good fun game against a good fun coach. He didn't foul me though that might have given him an advantage given I had 11 players by his turn 8 first half. Definately someone I will play again.
Early in the match I was fearing for the worst as his first 3 blocks on offence all delivered Pows without tackle and he got a Badly Hurt and a KO. But thanks to the riot, I was saved from further pain apart from the SI MNG on my Lino.
