“The tree took root fast, the elves left the field fast, but double skulls, and a failed GFI to score in turn 8 meant the game was a draw.

The game started out pretty poorly for us, with double skulls, evictions and so on. By the end of turn 3 we were down 4 rats to the elves 1 player in the reserves.

Supposedly confident that they could steal the ball they scored in their turn 4. And not getting a single player back we looked at trying to score 7 vs 11.

As if those odds weren't bad enough, a pitch invasion screwed our deployment up a bit, and a double skull on the first block left the field wide open for the elves to go for the ball.

A failed go for it and Loner wasting the RR caused not much to happen with that though, and we got possession of the ball, only to lose it the turn after. By now however Hittalot and Reepla managed to get their tails in gear and started to remove elves! We surrounded the loose ball and prepared to start our offense in earnest!

Surfing an elven catcher to an early grave and knocking out a niggled WD (for the second time) we managed to get the ball into the endzone. Unfortunately the player carrying it there slipped so no Touchdown was scored.

Second half looked good. 8 rats vs 6 elves!

BLITZ! The elves managed to catch the ball, we took out the pesky catcher and freed the ball, and then - another double skull!

We managed to sort that out however, and by now the numbers were 8 rats vs 4 elves. Taking out another two elven players (one of them the Tree) we scored turn 4, hoping that the numbers would allow for us to score a defensive TD.

The elves getting 4 out of six KO'd players back (among them the tree and the stripper, frenzy, MA9 WD) it looked not so good.

After the elves first turn we were outnumbered again, but Reepla and Hittalot worked their bloody magic and we quickly were 1 up. Unfortunately the woodies long pass went through and they were in the lead!

Now - 1 TD down, 2 turns left, 7 rats vs 5 elves. Making a huge mistake we allowed for a Tree blitz on the wrestle carrier! Luckily Boromir didn't go for that one, and we managed to equalize!
