“The Hellbringers were always going to struggle against the more powerful and experienced Croakers, but no one expected them to choke the way that they did.

The Hellbringers were well on their way to scoring the first TD, with Tzorak carrying the ball towards the end zone when the sure footed fellow tripped and lost the ball! The Croakers quickly scored, stunning the Hellbringers with their ability to throw.

The Hellbringers received at the next kick off and started to advance the ball when again it was turned over and the Croakers scored a second TD despite some tough defence by the shocked Hellbringers.

The second period saw the Croakers open with a quick score and the game looked like it could be a 5-0 whitewash. The Hellbringers were able to protect the ball a bit better on the next kickoff and eventually managed to score a TD to bring the score to 1-3.

By this time a second Skink player had tripped over his own feet and ended up in the casualty box. On the next kickoff, the Croakers lined up with only 7 players and the Hellbringers managed to win the ball.

With seconds left in the game, Bull Centaur Tzorak crossed entered the End Zone with the ball but tripped over his own feet again just as he did so and the score did not count!!!

What a screwed game that was. First kickoff was a Perfect Defence when I was receiving. Next one was a Blitz, but luckily at that moment, Christer reset the FUMBBL server and the last turn had to be redone LOL. To fail my GFI and Sure Feet roll TWICE when I was about to score was just typical of my luck in the rest of the game. If that first one hadn't of happened, the whole match would have been different as I would not have been 3 TDs down shortly after the start of the 2nd period.

To top things off, my only advance was for my Bull Centaur Lzarkon who then aged and got -1 STR. Now that was a real horror run of bad luck there.
