#13 Incilius Valliceps – Broken Neck (-AG)
FUMBBL SMACK Scheduled Legend CXXVII: 2nd Round
I think there is going to be some push-up and some running for the team when we get back home...

The game started brilliantly for the Bengals, with SLV feeding me his killer Troll Slayer Kalin by blitzing towards my own POMBer. First block with him ended with a kill - apo failed of course, as Nuffle likes to remind us of his presence.

On the second turn the revenge from Learka, blocking Valliceps - rolling skull/both down - and breaking his neck. Ironically, Valli had just skilled up the previous game and I did hesitate a lot between giving him Wrestle or Guard...

But Turn 3 is when everything started to go wrong. A block from the Deathroller on Bicolor ended up with a KO - terrified, Bicolor won't come back for the rest of the game. Bufo then went for the one die blitz on the carrier but failed his leap. Shortly after taking his chances for another blitz on the carrier, Bufo is badly hurt, taking a hit from the Deathroller; the apo hurries, and patches him up for the next drive.

A couple of KOs later, with the numbers on the team shrinking, Goliath goes for an unexpected Break Tackle blitz on the carrier, but despite his effort - loner reroll passed - the Dodgy Runner escapes for the score.

The second half doesn't get better, Goliath the Krox rolls his second skull/both down of the game, fails his loner and a good Lightning Bolt from the Wizard later, the ball is in the hands of the opposition. Bufo comes in to save the day on a two dice block, but fails to bring the Rongwen Runner down again. Thankfully, Rongwen decides to block himm back, and skull/both down it, losing the ball.

And The Game Is On! Rana the Super Star goes for the Hand-Off, gets close to Aga who will be able to just run for it and... Rana snakes the first GFI, Badly Hurts herself and The Game Is Not On! :)

NO! The Game Is On! Plan F is to go for the blitz with my newly Ag4 Blitzer Sauvagii, get one less TZ on the ball, get the ball with Bufo (4+) to Aga (2+ 3+) who will then run for it! ... Nope, Sauvagii fails his dodge and the ball is back in the Devils' hands.

The Bengals do not despair, Bufo goes for another blitz, gets the ball off the Runner, and Sauvagii redeems himself, throwing the ball deep for himself or Aga to pick it up later.

The Game Is On! Sauvagii goes for the TD pass... But fumbles it...

But Sauvagii is stubborn, he goes for the blitz/pick up/TD, get a TZ away, get the ball and . . . fails the GFI, knocking himself out on the way...

It was a good game SLV, I kept hop(e) till then end!

Good luck in the Smack.
