If the humans were scared at kick off, they didn't show it. Wary of the wizard and early knock outs, the Coat ran in for a quick 1-0. Sensing weakness, the Destiny Calling players launched into their drive, smashing zombies and the ghoul. Fortunately Landlady and the Palm proved to be a bit tougher but could not prevent 1-1.

Only 8 players line up for Pig Sty Alley; it's ominous! Still time to restore the lead before the end of the half - but a lightening bolt makes the Coat's hair stand on end and the ball ends up downfield. No problem, the Coat can reach it, but his fingers tingle and the ball slips out of his paws! A lineman then embarrassing the legend wolf by stealing the ball from its feet for a surprise lead to Destiny Calling at half time!

Just as the panic button is to be hit, a wonderous kick is accompanied by perfect defense and the ball bobbles at the feet of a flesh golem. A catcher and the Palm end up with the fans, but the Coat emerges ball in hand.and eventually wriggles free to set up overtime. It's our toss and that pretty much decides the tie.
