I hardly ever say things like this, but I think I really should have won this game.

My opponent played a well-positioned and highly-aggressive offense, and I responded by what I thought was a pretty savvy defense–– in fact, maybe one of the few times I've pulled off a really good defense. I was able to stop the score.

None of the KO's come back, leaving the lizards with a lone skink. The 6 saurus throw something like 10 dice at some unskilled linewomen, but only manage to take down 1, while the Krox takes down another. Block/Tackle/MB accomplish nothing. Skink misses the pick-up.

The Amazon stat-freaks charge in, stun the saurus tackler, and GFI ad nauseam, filling the backfield up with Blitzers. The saurus try to take some heat off, but can only manage pushes again, and one hits doubleskulls, squandering the team reroll. Naturally, the pick-up that turn fails too, and Amazons take the ball, stall and score.

Final drive sees a killer deep kick, more general inability to take down or injure rookie linewomen, the ladies pull off nonstop dodging insanity, and and Krox goes repeatedly stupid, which pretty much is the final nail in the coffin. The ladies take the ball, we recover it, but the skink fails the GFI needed to keep him safe, stuns, game over.

Pretty silly. My opponent played well, but this was a steal.
