“It is a while since the Wrestlers had faced Lizards but the awaited fireworks in combat didn't really happen. The Ogres put up a feeble show of force as Saurii knocked them over easily and they offered little in return. Failed saurii handoff attempts left us with a chance to stop the drive but Kendo double boneheading an easy block chance we needed followed by a skull hit left one turn in shambles and the Saurus scored. We had time to come back but as we were receiving the kick off all 5 Ogres rolled Bonehead!! 1 rr'd and Les pro'd at least but it looked bad. Little Lord Lucan was then not protected after a chainpush and was pounded in to the cas box by Titus the Kroxigor. Jake the Snake recovered the ball but Les was piled on and badly hurt and Jake also was knocked over to end the drive. Our saving grace from the half was that the pow'd snots were mostly just ko'd and could return. Bicep started our 2nd half drive picking up the ball but a Saurus broke through the pathetic titchy snot tackles and smashed him up. Fortunately Tom Thumb got it back and advanced with protection and with a rare moment of quality he got it to Jake the Snake who dodged away for the score.
The next Lizardman drive went to plan and we never looked like stopping them. Then at the end they continued their good efforts with a blitz and a skink getting the ball in our half. Shane Mcmahon and two fellow snots darted over and knocked him over. There was a slight ttm td chance on after the crowd threw the ball across the pitch but we didn't notice. Big Daddy also finally badly hurt a Saurus. Haystacks kept hitting away today but he just didn't seem up to it though he did ko the Krox and others so still our main threat.
Another defeat for us and no permanent damage on either side today to excite the crowd, but it was an interesting game at times.”
