Another good match. The Pox has a good team, but were not playing at their best today. Their thrower kept on fumbling the ball when he didn't fail to pick it up, and their ogre wasn't at his best either.

Our team played rough, and Il Brute and Enrico both caused cas. Il Brute sent Finnbus out with a smashed collar bone with his very first hit. We also haf several other KO's, and thus could play most of the game with a numerical advantage.

Ball action was not perfect, and Annalisa lost the ball two times in the first half. Thus, we had to run down advancing ballcarriers from the pox several times, but Luigi made two key sacks in the first half, and I a third in the second half. Il Brute even got a TD by catching a bouncing ball in the firts half and running it to a TD, while Antonella picked up a loose ball in the second half and handed it over to Giovanna who scored easily.

All in all, I was well satisfied with the 2-0 victory, and my Valiant opponent struggled with a numerical disadvantage and constantly had to try more difficult plays. Now we are at the top of the League, and are up against the second placed team, the Shipwrecks, in the next round! What a magnificent match that will be!”
